Teacher's lived experience in teaching writing based on genre approach

This research was progressive qualitative. The data were gathered by conducting in depth interviews with teachers of Junior High School as tge main data gathering instruments. Meanwhile, classroom observations, re-interviews, and document checks used as supporting data gathering instruments, which were necesassry for data triangulation. The research was conducted in three Junior High Schools in Sleman Regency, with three English teachers as the participants. To analyze the qualitative data, first all the collection data were organized, by reducing the data through giving a code on each the necessary or intended data into categories or classification. The next step was to summarize, finding relationships among categories. The last step the data were described and interpreted then presented them in narrative form.
